📍Giritale Hotel Sometimes, a moment to wind down and appreciate life is all we need. Waking up to the sounds of birds singing and the leaves rustling from a distance across the lake, or to even enjoy incredible sunsets from our room while sipping something strong. Our trip to Giritale has been nothing but UNREAL. Just look at these drooling sunsets! These snapshots have become sacred treasures in my heart. Just like love at first sight, it takes your breath away, leaves you speechless and if only for a moment, slows down time. In that instant, you feel the love and gratitude for Mother Nature exude from every inch of your body. We definitely recommend you to eat inside, this was moments before we got attacked by the monkeys. Breakfast was really good, usually they serve Sri Lankan breakfast and this was the 2nd day we stayed at the hotel and we requested them to arrange something different for us and they were truly generous enough to arrange this wonderful spread.
